A difficult end to the playoff campaign

Timau Union’s 2026 season came to a close after the county league playoff quarter-final against Mwanga Millers.

Timau Union FC’s 2026 competitive season concluded with the Meru County League playoff quarter-final against Mwanga Millers at Kaaga Girls on 17 October.

The result meant Timau Union did not progress to the next round. It was a disappointing end to a campaign that had seen the team finish second in Zone A and qualify for the county playoffs for a second consecutive season.

A season to build on

Reaching the playoffs in consecutive seasons is a meaningful marker for a community-owned club. The league campaign brought the team together around a shared goal and gave supporters another season to stand behind their club.

Timau Union’s final recorded league fixture was a 2–0 victory over Githongo Scorpion at Timau Stadium on 4 October. The playoff tie followed later in the month and brought the season to its conclusion.

Thank you for the support

The club thanks the players, technical team, officials, volunteers and supporters who contributed their time and encouragement throughout the campaign. Football is a collective effort, on and off the pitch.

As the team looks ahead, confirmed news about tournaments, training and future fixtures will be shared through official club channels. Supporters are encouraged to check the main website for the latest verified information.

We move forward together — one club, one community.
